I was suffering form acidity and gastritis for approximately two years, I did endoscopy, took PPI therapy for months ,did regular exercise and also tried various solutions by browsing through internet .for eg: cabbage juice , sprouts, glutamine etc. but none of them completely solved my issue.
for some reason, I tried to do yoga as well to solve my issue, specifically mandukasana.
Here are the steps for Mandukasana, also known as Frog Pose, in yoga:
- Sit in Vajrasana, or Thunderbolt, pose
- Make fists with both hands, with thumbs inside
- Place fists on belly next to belly button,
- on either side Exhale and bend forward, keeping back straight and looking forward
- Hold breath for a few seconds,
- then inhale Repeat 3–5 times
- Slowly raise body to a kneeling position
when , I tried it , it immediately showed results, and after 1-2 weeks of doing it regularly 30 mins in morning before eating and 30 mins in evening empty stomach it healed my stomach.
It worked miraculously, for 2 years my biggest problem was how to treat acidity/gastritis.
every problem was insignificant compared to this.
So ,I just wanted to share this solution which helped me, to everyone who is facing chronic acidity/gastritis/stomach issues.
some other suggestions:
- reduce stress (very important)
- take glutamine powder (5gram/day) :glutamine may help in gastritis ,but not suggested for GERD.
